Ann Gormley
Chair
Serves through December 2012
Ms. Gormley joined the Board in 1999 as an advisor to the firm. Her experience as an internal and external consultant specializing in organization development, training and communications makes her uniquely qualified to serve. With over 20 years of successful business experience, she is currently the principal consultant for Ann M. Gormley Consulting. Previously, she has worked internally providing strategic planning; leadership, management and professional development; change management; and communications expertise. She has designed, developed and conducted workshops and conferences on a wide variety of topics throughout the United States, Europe and Asia and her client list includes Applied Materials, SanDisk Corporation, Juniper Networks, Palm, 3Com, the Gap and Kaiser Permanente.
Ann has a BS from Stonehill College, MA and a Master's of Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, CA.
Valerie Pinkert
Director
Serves through December 2012
Valerie Pinkert joined the Board in 2010. With over 35 years of executive Human Resource management experience in both large corporations and small companies, Valerie brings valuable front-line, hands-on experience to the Board. As a specialist in employee relations and organizational development, her positions at Bank of America culminated as Senior Vice President, Corporate Employee Relations, which included managing the bank’s employee opinion survey process. Since 2001 Ms. Pinkert has served as a Human Resource Consultant for a variety of non-profit corporations, law firms and hi-tech companies. Her clients include such organizations as Borel Private Bank, Genentech, Grace Cathedral of San Francisco, Applied Bio Systems, and Shorenstein Realty Company.
Valerie holds a BA from California University at Fresno and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University.
Noelle Van Vlierbergen
Director
Serves through December 2012
Ms. Van Vlierbergen rejoined the Board in 2009 as an advisor to the firm. With over 19 years of successful Human Resources experience specializing in benefits design, compensation analysis, employee relations, training and development and information systems she brings exceptional talent to the firm. Ms. Van Vlierbergen has held a variety of senior Human Resource positions working for such companies as Sony Corporation, Electronic Arts, Esprit de Corp, West Coast Beauty Supply Company and currently at AKQA where she is the Director of Human Resources.
Ms. Van Vlierbergen has a BS in Sociology from The University of Kansas.
